About

Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add,
but when there is nothing left to take away.
Antoine de Saint-Exupery
About ... the picture I hope to take one day
Enthusiasm is a vital ingredient in all human endeavor; and I am enthusiastic about each step that brings me closer ...

... to a photograph that minimalistically captures emotional content, draws a reaction from viewers, or remains in their hearts;
... to a portrait that is not made in the camera but on either side of it;
... to an editorial set that captivates the viewer by the tension between depicted fashion and the desire to learn about the thoughts behind the eyes of the model's face.

One day, I will have light-painted each of the three, having captured reality so subtle that it becomes more real than reality.
About ... me
Having a beloved wife and daughter, and a fulfilling job, I am lucky enough to be considering my photography as altruistic art for art's sake.

I started taking pictures decades ago: I was in primary school and frequently "borrowed" my mum's view-finder camera shooting 35mm film. Those days, I was taking pictures rather than writing or drawing with light. My journey continued during high school where, being on the year-book staff, my passion for portraits ignited. Suspending photography from time to time during college, I decided to put the artist more frequently loose and to focus on photographing people; let it be for portraits, fashion, or life-style.

If you enjoy striving through the pictures in my portfolio and project pages and would like to collaborate in a photo shoot (let it be as a model, fashion designer, or make-up-artist) or permanently display some art pieces, please don't hesitate to dop an e-mail.  Looking forward to hearing from you.
